The Olde Avesbury pattern comes from an original pattern book noted as 1932 and housed in the Royal Crown Derby archives. The design itself is one of the most popular and has been adapted from an embroidery pattern by painter, Albert Gregory. It has taken on many colour combinations over the years, both in pattern and background. The pieces are adorned with dramatic birds of paradise and peacocks with elegant, trailing feathers and embellished in 22 carat gold for a more contemporary look with elegance that never dates. Hand crafted for you it can have a longer lead time.
