Alessi Dressed Biscuit Box

Part of the Dressed collection by designer Marcel Wanders for Alessi , the cake box is decorated in a fine and discreet way. The relief decoration that adorns the polished stainless steel lid is particularly charming.

Traditionally, decorations are always attached to the important and visible points of an object. Wanders, on the other hand, places decorations on discreet, somewhat hidden points, and sometimes in places that are not usually visible. We could therefore speak of an introverted decoration. The name of the collection "Dressed" suggests a decoration that is designed like a beautiful dress: It should emphasize the content but without stealing the show.
