2013 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Jørgen Nielsen, is titled Light in the snow. A small boy with a heart of gold is the motif of the Bing and Grondahl Christmas plate 2013. The boy has decorated a beautiful Christmas tree for the forest animals and they are all curious to see the tree with light. All the most common animals in the Danish forest is shown on the plate: the deer, the hare, the squirrel, the fox and the owl.
