The fairy tale figurine "Red Riding Hood" by Peter Strang from 1998 is kept in a humorous, ironic and yet complex formal language. His funny interpretations of Grimm's motifs distance themselves from the sometimes uncanny, sometimes difficult to fathom meanings of the fairy tales. Contrary to the dark fairy tale, Red Riding Hood and the wolf seem to be harmoniously together. Characterised by simple geometric shapes, such as rectangles, balls and prisms, the fairy tale figurines get a cheerful character. The sculptural representation of the "Red Riding Hood" in its reduced, almost childlike decoration is reminding of artistic sketches from the studio. The special charm of the fairy tale characters make them a unique Christmas gift.
