This dinner plate is a true gem for your home dinner service: the dinner plate of the "New Cutout" shape with the "Onion Pattern" decoration in cobalt blue was first made in 1739 and is inspired by the East Asian decorations that were mainly blue at that time. As part of a traditional dinner service, the plate is a special piece of tableware, hand-painted and exquisite. In fact, the onion pattern does not actually depict onions, but rather shows pomegranate, peach, bamboo stick and delicate flowers, following the model. Noble tableware, hand-painted as a perfect complement to any dinner service, present culinary in Meissen tradition.
